Hi,

You could try asking your provider if they allow you to connect via an
alternate port.  Then use that port to connect rather than the defaults.
This is often necessary when connecting to the server from behind a proxy or
other firewall, and can apply to cell phone connectivity as well.  Note that
you may have to enable SSL for this to work.
