Hello Barbara and Peter,
To change the text, go to menu, tools, settings, phone, general, and
it is the fourth option down. You can choose between default, text
and image. When you select text, the editing window appears and you
can write your text which will be spoken on startup. Press key 1 to
close the window. I now have my phone saying Hello Clive!
