Eleanor, The fact that you're in Ireland shouldn't make any difference to
the e-mail settings at all.

Hi Everyone
Thank you all for your help with the G mail set-up. It was a matter of
putting everything all of you said. I am currently in Ireland and whether
that makes a difference or not I do not know but in addition to Steve's,
Scot's and Alex's suggestions I had to change Ports to ssl/tls. Now I just
need to work out how to send e-mails from G mail but can receive them
fine.Actually I have just done it now and have to send via my eircom client.
All very interesting. As Steve would say one needs to experiment and that I
am certainly doing but it is only with practice and familiarity with the
phone and Talks that one gets the confidence to try and put the rubic cube
together. Thanks again everyone. I think the list is great and would not
be doing all of this but for the list. I have a long way to go yet but I am
getting there slowly. Will soon be using PC Suite, radio, etc.
