Thanks Ibrahim. Now how do I bring up the virtual keyboard or number pad? Let
me give you an example. I want to pair devices via bluetooth and when N 97 mini
asks me to enter number I then start pushing open the slider to get to the
keypad which is all clumbsey. Again to know what are soft keys 34 and 5 please?
Maybe they are the arrow keys.
Finally using phone switch I have not moved my contacts over. How do I move
then across?
Eleanor

Hi Eleanor.

The arrow keys on the N97 mini are on the bottom right hand edge of the
keyboard and are laid out as follows:
Bottom row, right most key is the right arrow
One key to the left is the down arrow
Second in from the right still on the bottom row is the left arrow
above the down arrow is the up arrow.
to the right of the up arrow is the enter key which should take you to the
third row, last button on the right.

I hope this helps you with your orientation.

All the best, Ibrahim.

Ok......

Homescreen first - if you dont like what is on it as default then you can
change it and put what you like on there as shortcuds, when on there press
key1 for options then scroll down to edit and use either touch or arrow keys
to highlight a shortcud and key1 to open options and you have the options
for selecting what goes there, once your in there its pretty intuitive but
if you get stuck just shout and someone will help.

Bluetooth - this is in menu>settings >connectivity

i usually change one of the homescreen shortcuds to be a bluetooth shortcud
so its easy and quick to manipulate.

Think you also asked how to open the main menu, the talks key is the menu
key, in portrait layout this key is bottim left and at least on the N97
Classic it is the only actual physical key on the main screen part of the
phone. Pressing once is talks key, press twice quicklly is menu key and if
you press and hold it down it opens the list of currently running apps for
quick switching between them.

Hth, Pete

How do I get to turn on bluetooth on the O97 mini? I do not appear to be
able to move away from all this internet stuff so how can I bring up the
menu we are used to please so that I can explore the phone. When I connected
via USB to ny computer it did not say charging though it said I was
connected in USB mode. It there any way to have the menu on the home screen
rather than the internet stuff?

I have the N97 Mini and those instructions are very clear and more
importantly correct. When I installed Talks for the first time I used Nokia
PC Suite. I could see key one and two and I think they are clear and bold
enough for low vision users. My phone has a black background and that played
a big part in my seeing the key one and two. I just simply installed Talks
first and continuesly pressed key one until the install shield appeared.
