Hi Paul, No, I have never heard of this. Please try going into the Talks program, then Options, Register and Restore Registration, and see if it goves you any message. All the best Steve From: talks-uk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:talks-uk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of The one & only Paul David Sent: Tuesday 24 November 2009 20:37 To: talks-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [talks-uk] Explanation sought please On 13 October I purchased a Nokia E71 phone from the Carphone Warehouse in Wembley, and on 2 November I had the full version of Talks installed at RNIB Judd Street, having previously had the 10-day demo installed. On various dates between 15 and 21 November I kept on receiving the message "Licence has expired" when attempting to use my phone. There was no indication as to what licence that could be, and Talks kept on talking to me. On 22 November I decided to charge the phone up, and since then I have had no repeat of this message. Do I have to assume that every time I hear the message "licence has expired" I am actually being advised to recharge the phone? Sounds rather odd, but I can think of no other explanation, and any suggestions list members may have could be useful. Paul David Wembley Park
