Hi Paul,

To find out what the alarm says, as soon as you stop the alarm with Key1,
press Talks then Long Hash. In other words, hold down the hash key, and
Talks will read the alarm entry.

All the best

Steve

Hi

Yes, I can set multiple alarms and call them things so, I have an alarm that
only goes off on week days and I could name it as "work" for example.

I can also do a quick alarm and set alarms for any appointments I have in my
calendar.

I don't think Talks reads the appointment when it flashes on and off on the
phone screen but, you hear the alarm sound anyway so, you only have to look
in the calendar and the elapsed appointment will be there.

Cheers.

Hi Peter,

There should be New Quick Alarm, and also New Alarm. The New Alarm one is
for repeat alarms and such. If you don't have this stuff, your firmware is
old on your phone.

All the best

Hi Steve,
I'm not sure this is premium clock. Last time I looked it over, I could only
set 1 alarm at a time. Premium clock app gave multiple alarms that you could
set.

Hi Peter,

You can't. But it is built into the phone. Just go into clock, arrow
right, and you will see world clock. Just add another city to it and you
can see the time in both places.

All the best

Hi Peter,

Here is the code:-

NXCV-WZVW-CYTB-QE3B Expires on 07-OCT-2008

It is an N95-8GB.

There is no problem with unlocking the phone, Talks is indeed tied to the
IMEI.

All the best

Hi Steve,
Yes, it would be great if you could extend the demo for me. I have given you
my IMEI number below. The other thing is, I bought this N95 on e bay and it
was locked to the Orange network. What I intend to do later is get Orange
to unlock it for me and then I will reformat the phone. Will I still be able
to use my copy of talks? I hope I won't have to pay another charge? I'm
hoping its tied to the IMEI number so I will have no problems. My IMEI
number is:

354829028899346

Hi Peter,

It sounds like you have Talks Standard for some reason. Did you buy it from
us? If so, you couldn't have standard, as we only sell Premium.

All the best

Hi Steve,
Talks says, nuance talks and zooms 3 . 60 . 3

In my tabs folder I only have 5 tab or property sheets.

I have removed and reinstalled talks a number of times. No dictionary,
though I know it was there before. I think it was second from the end.

Hi Peter,

Go into the Talks application, go into Options, About and tell me what
version of Talks you have. Sounds like you may have an old version loaded,
although I don't remember a version without the dictionary.

All the best

 Hi Neil,
I have magnification tab, speech tab, advanced tab, automation tab, and
braille tab 5 of 5. I don't use braille. I do remember using this dictionary
manager a few weeks ago, but a re install and now its gone. Did I download
the wrong version? I bought premium talks 3 years ago, but I've upgraded my
phone. I was told the cost is 50 pounds from computer room services?
I'm buying on Monday...
But I do want my dictionary manager.

Peter,

If you go into the Talks settings window, you right arrow through the tabs,
it is after the automation tab, there's magnification, speech, advanced,
automation and then dictionary.

It is a premium feature, if you don't yet have your license then you can get
one 24 hours a day online at our site www.talknav.com

Let me know if I can help further.

Hi all,
In the new talks, can I work with a dictionary manager? I remember seeing
such a thing, but I don't remember if it was talks or mobile speak. The
dictionary manager is like the one in Jaws and window eyes in that I can
change Helensburgh to Helensboro. If it is within talks is it only in a
premium version, because I can't find it inside my timed out demo of talks
3.6.
