Thanks for taking the time to respond to me.

You certainly sell the N97 very well and yes, as I would be modding it the 
hardware improvements are probably move important than the software.  
Regardless of what firmware it came with, I'd probably end up downloading a 
stock firmware from the Nokia servers and modding it, so it'd be the latest 
anyway.  

I also like the idea of the physical keyboard, although having never used a 
QWERTY before on a phone it'll be an interesting experience.  I always thought 
they would be unusable due to their size, and never understood how people could 
stand writing long mails on them, but I've seen more than enough positive 
comments about it to conclude that I'll just have to give it a try and find out 
for myself.
