Yes thanks Neil I agree with and am doing everything you say below, thanks to all the help from the list. Just had wondered about that. Now I know I am absolutely fine. No point in wondering and not asking. Thanks to you and everyone who takes the trouble to respond. It is fantastic support. The first thing you should do is only have one contact per person, so adding all details under each person, rather than having things like John's Mobile, John's Home, John's Work etc, you should have John, and in John you should store all his details, let me know if you need help with this. Now when going to call someone, for example TalkNav, you should go into Contacts, then type ~TalkNav, you probably will only have to type the first few letters to get us, so 8, 2, 555, 55, is talk, this will reduce the list to only entries with that word in it. If you've gone to create an e-mail, and press select on the too field, or press options and scroll to add recipient, only those contacts with e-mail addresses will show anyhow. hope that this helps. Is there any way I can have a Contacts folder with just those people whose e-mail Addresses I have. It does not matter if I have to have their telephone contacts there also but it means it would cut down my search when I go to make calls to various Contacts. I expect not and that I will just have to put up with it. Eleanor
