That is a good tip Paul, I will certainly employ that in the future.

Just continue typing the next letter in the name or place you are looking for
and each time you do that, you will obviously get fewer choices as you have
more letters toward the name you are ultimately trying to find.

so S might give you Marks & Spencer; Steakhouse and Steve but if you then
type the T, you will just get the Steakhouse and Steve.

  Hope this helps.

  Subject: [talks-uk] Contacts Listing Alphabetically

  Hi
If I want a contact quickly and the name begins with the letter S I hit S and
it brings me to a list. The list is not quite what I expect and it seems to
have everything listed that has an S in it. Say I have Sarah, Susan and Marks
and Spencer, I get Marks and Spencer when I hit S and I'd expect to get it
under M. Someone might argue that Spencer is read as a Sirname or Second Name
or whatever you want to call it, but I just Put Marks & Spencer in the first
name field and Sarah and Susan in the first name field also. Wonder if I am
making myself clear.

  Eleanor
