Hi Alex, The reason for saving the dictionary twice, is that when you type in a digit to start dialing a number, you are on a slightly different screen. If you set the dictionary entries to global, which is the default, you will fall over, when you get a post code such as SA1, it will say Saturday 1. However, you set it to application specific, and you set it to the telephone screen, and the standby screen. This is the way to do it properly. It will work once and globally, but you will get these errors. For more information on the user dictionary, please refer to the Talks manual. Hi Steve, thanks for that information. Please can you explain to me, off list, if you prefer, the steps for changing the speaking of the days, as I don't quite understand the need to go into the user dictionary twice and the steps needed for making the change twice. Thank you for your assistance in advance. .
