[talks-uk] CORDLESS PHONE QUERY

Hi
I know this is not Talks related but I was wondering if anyone could help.
Basically, I'm after a new cordless phone for the landline but all the
phones I've seen involve accessing the phonebook and the various menus to
change/alter settings.
Is there any software which would work with a cordless phone in the same way
that Talks works with mobiles?
Any help would be appreciated.
