Hi Dean.

Thanks for correcting me *smile*, I'm on a contract with three and they charge me £2 for each megabyte out of allowance, I assumed it might be the same on ThreePay or at least similar.

All the best, Ibrahim.

On Flat 12 without an add-on it is £1 not £2 per
MB. It may not matter much though as you get
150MB of data with every top up so it depends how
much Internet you use. Going over that data is charged at 30 pence.

Hi.

Its a possibility that you could use fring, but if you don't use the special clients Three provide, you may get charged for the data used when making or receiving Skype calls, something that is charged at 2 pounds per megabyte out of allowance.

All the best, Ibrahim.

Are there not other possibilities like Fring he could try.

I have given up really on the Skype on mobile thing as I could rearly get it
to work well namely the audio quality was very poor. Then again, it is
often on the PC version anyway.

Cheers.

Paul

Hi Dean.

Unfortunately and your not the only one who will steam at this, but Three
use special versions of the Skype and messenger clients which are
inaccessible as far as talks is concerned. I've never been able to work
with either program successfully.

All the best, Ibrahim.

Hi,
Here's a different one, I'm doing it the other
way round to everyone else! My network, 3, have
a new price plan out called 3 pay that gives an
inclusive text allowance, free 3 to 3 calls and
150MB of Internet when I top up, that's
fine. The problem is that they are still
offering free Skype and Windows Live Messenger
but I can't access those as I have an unbranded
phone. It didn't bother me before as there were
stretch offers where I could get for example 300
minutes or text for £15 amongst other offers but
I have a feeling they have gone on the new price
plan, I haven't switched yet to find out but I'm
thinking about it. The thing is minutes have
gone up to 20 pence so I'd be looking to use
Skype where possible along with the free 3 to 3
calls that are included in every top up. Has
anyone done this and will I regret it? Finally
how and is there an accessible way?
