MessageRight that is great you now know. As I do not have an N85 and did
suggest to you about looking at what version of firmware you have, hopefully
someone else with the same model of phone will be able to check theirs also so
you can compare notes or maybe even Steve will know what the latest version of
firmware is for that phone.

interesting as Paul's is from Voda also maybe you too can compare what
firmware version you have. Surely Voda can tell you what the latest firmware
for them is.

I've also uninstalled and reinstalled Paul, without any difference on my
N85. I'm just wondering if this is a firmware problem. Does anyone know what
the latest firmware for the N85 is and how you go about installing it, as in
device manager it says no updates are available. I'm with Voda and I'm sure
there should be 1, cos I haven't updated it since I got it over a year ago.
BTW, is anyone using the iPlayer successfully on a N85? Cheers Steve.

Well. I just uninstalled the IPlayer from my phone; downloaded it from
the BBC site again and reinstalled it; restarted it and it still is not
accessible.

      yeah i really don't know. it's a weird one. because i can't get bbc7 to
play at all no matter what i do. i even tried playing with the perental
controls to see if that did anything. if anybody has had any issues getting
bbc7 to work and managed to get round them then i'd love to know how you
managed it.

        Hey Darren

I'll talk to you off list anyway as want to talk about FB group and
such.

But would love to know what you are doing differently to me with regard
to the IPlayer app.

I can't see that having an N85 makes any difference.

        Speak soon.

        Paul

Can I add my confusion...just for a change. I can't access it at
all either. When I launch it, it keeps just reading I player when I cursor
around. Is there a cursor mode like jaws cursor I don't know about?

              I'm confused too then!

Mine is an app which was not accessible last time I tried.

I'll try again tonight though for sure.

              Thanks.

              Hello,

I'm a little confused here. I found the application to be
completely accessible. After installing it, it just appeared as a regular
website interface with no accessibility problems to speak of. All I had to do
was select the program I wished to watch, and the program began playing. I was
able to use the options menu to control playback and exit as required.

              Hello,

Alternatively, you can just visit www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer on your
phone, and you will be prompted to download the software automatically. From
there, you can simply access the application via your applications menu.

I think it is so much better, now you can use the BBC I Player application on
the Nokia E71 and N95.

It works great with talks, and I would urge anyone who hasn't got
it yet, to get it now.

I currently use it on both my Nokia E71 and N95 phones. I have
had now problems with it at all.
