Well Carole with regard to e-mail addresses provided you have the cursor set to Original when you land on the e-mail address go to options and then down to contacts and right arrow to a submenu and it will be either to add new or update existing. It is good I have to say. Get someone to send yhou a text with their e-mail address, make sure you are on cursor original by pressing Talks key and long key 2 until you hear it say cursor original and then read your text message and try it out. As regards a web address I think it means that the cursor will land on it and you can then select and the web address will open for you. In other correspondance you will see my discussion with Steve re the telephone number in the text message, he thinks I should try it out for myself rather than having to be told but when I work it out I'll let you know that too Carole. In the meantime Alex might let you know because he told us about it in the first instance.

Hi Jackie,

Yes, I could not find it either.

However, you may be wrong about Automatic Find being off. If Talks
says Automatic Find Off, then it is on. Off is the action that will
happen
if you press the select key. This confuses a lot of people, but it is
like a switch. Talks is not reading you its current setting, it is
reading what will be set if you act on it. If you turn it off, then
Talks will say Automatic Find on.

All the best

Steve

Hi Steve

As I've just received an incoming message, and was curious by Carol's
query, I tried to send it via Bluetooth and, like her, don't have an
option on my phone to do so where you suggest. In fact, when in the
text message, I can go into options and choose from the following:
reply with a sub-menu to do so via text or multimedia; forward;
delete; call
with a sub-menu to do so via voice or video; use the automatic find
which, on mine, is off; look at message details; move to folder; help;
or exit. But there is definitely not a send via Bluetooth option
there.

I've seen a send via Bluetooth in applications like the contacts or
calendar.

Hi Carol,

I haven't tried this, but worth a shot.

Go into your text message on the phone. Select Options, Send, Via
Bluetooth. When the phone gives you a list of devices, select your
computer. I believe then the text message should end up as a txt file
in you're my Documents\My Bluetooth Received Files folder.

Hope this helps.

All the best

Steve

Hi all,

Following the thread on using wireless with the N95, I was cautioned
about safety and decided I'd once again look at my bluetooth options
for
my desktop. Yes, I've got that little dongle thing to work too and
transferred

a file from desktop to phone successfully! Thanks for encouraging me
to have another go at this ...

However, I have one thing I want to do and don't know how to achieve
it
and that was one of the reasons I wanted to transfer between the two
in
the first place. I have a couple of text messages which were sent to
my phone and I really need to keep and want to store them on my
desktop.
There isn't

an option given on the phone (that I can find) to send via bluetooth
anywhere. Does anyone have an idea how I may achieve this, please?

Thanks.
