Hi David. Satogo.com has always been free to my knowledge. My knowledge goes back as far as March 2008 which doesn't sound long. I only discovered System Access through a forwarded e-mail from a friend who read about the Air Foundation. However, according to the information provided at the time of purchase, the issue of updates was not package as a SAMNet benefit, but a separate benefit. You can spin this anyway you wish, but no matter how you flip it, the plain truth of the matter is that the issues I listed above are a part of my contract. No bundling or packageing was given, but separate benefits or services were listed.
I am happy for those who no longer have to pay for updates, but disappointed that services that I pay for are now free without any reduction in price.

That sounds wonderful except it doesn't address the point that I was making.
I entered into an agreement with Serotek to make monthly payments in exchange for a software license and other services. Now some of those services are now offered for free.
I know that the SATOGO and software updates were a part of that contract for service and were not a free item at that time. David

Didn't the contract also include upgrades that are now free? I am notsure and will have to check but I believe my contract included the following:
SA License SATOGO (which was not free at that time) Upgrades (which were not free at that time) Fixed cost of upgrades after completion of the contract (Not much of a benefit at this time) SAM Network Ability to have SA on a flash drive.
Now you tell me that the contract is basically for the software and SAMNet.

You are in a four-year contract with Serotek. This contract includes a four year subscription to the SA Mobile Network. Your plan will not change. The ones who will immediately notice the difference are those who are paying $60.00 per year for System Access software maintenance upgrades. Now, when your contract is up, even if you decide to opt out of the SA Mobile Network subscription, which we hope you do not, your System Access upgrades will be free for life.
