hmm, never had this problem in windows media player or iTunes.  Plus total
recorder has a software for movies now I suspect it is accessible. It has a
free trial.

Joe,

for those using a screen reader, the problem is getting the movie to start
playing in the first place.  most of the movie playing software packages
don't work with screen readers.
