The Braille support for NVDA is pretty good and you can use the new Microsoft speech platform for speech output, also there is a add on for eloquence.

Anyone is allowed to sign up for the mailing lists, download the free webinars, classes, and other materials from the web site.
Also, they have a jaws "emulation" mode, where you can set the keyboard to use the same jaws commands which you are used to.
