I think it is eye on the sparrow, based on a true story, this touching made-for-TV drama follows the struggle of a married couple to adopt a child. They must fight long and hard against

a system that automatically labels them unfit because they are both blind.

Subject: [tabi] movie featuring blind people please identify

ok, so, I am looking for a movie.
I only saw parts of the movie, but it looked like some blind people had adopted a child and all their blind friends were against it. That's all I remember about the movie because I came in on the tale end of it where a friend of the woman had gotten a tape letter from a friend who was saying how bad it was that the people had adopted the particular child. Since I can't make a google search with so little informN, I am asking if you know.
Thanks
P.S. If I find out the name I'll post.
