FYI From: Randy Morgan [mailto:Randy@xxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Wednesday, November 24, 2010 10:14 AM Subject: Hadley Free Courses and On-line Seminars Happy Thanksgiving to all! After attending two Florida conferences the past two weeks, I continue to find individuals in Florida who are not aware that all of Hadley’s courses, including those for Professional Development are offered free of charge through September, 2011 because of a grant to Hadley from the Florida Division of Blind Services. This grant provides you with an opportunity to earn valuable continuing education free of charge. 14 courses are pre-approved by ACVREP, and one, “Finding Employment”, is approved by both, ACVREP, and CRCC. Please spread this information to anyone you believe would be interested in accessing a Hadley course either as a blind consumer, a family member of someone with a visual impairment, or as a professional or volunteer in the field of visual rehabilitation. I would like to also take the opportunity to remind you of Hadley’s on-line Seminars called Seminars@hadley. Our next Seminar will be on Dog Guides and I have pasted the information below. If you cannot be present at the time a seminar is aired, they are all archived so you can access them at a later time. Nine are currently approved for ACVREP CEUs if you complete a short questionnaire after accessing them. Have a Happy Thanksgiving and contact me if I can ever be of assistance to you.
