issues. *

*Event Information*

*Where: **Leon** County** Courthouse Annex, 1920 Thomasville Road,

While the Legal Aid Foundation offers free or low-cost legal assistance in
civil matters, LAF estimates over 2,300 low-income families in Leon County
each year need help in family law (such as divorce, child custody, child
support, and other issues).

LAF’s new *Family Law Clinic* is created to help anyone facing a family law
issue understand what to expect and what’s involved, from an experienced
family attorney. Our sponsor and presenter, Elizabeth Peskin, will cover
common issues, legal procedures, legal forms, and online resources
available through the Leon County Clerk of the Courts. Elizabeth is a
volunteer for the Legal Aid Foundation, a Supreme Court Certified Family &
Dependency Mediator, and a Parenting Coordinator.

LAF staff will be on hand with information about programs that may be of
further assistance. Learn more at www.legalaidtallahasssee.org or
850-222-3292, ext. 2.
