I wanted to report on my scheduling a few rides via the electronic option we've
recently been given. Talgov.com\dial. As most will recall, we were sent letters
from StarMetro providing a "Client ID", "beginning Password", and some general
instructions for using this tool. This is how you get started. If you've
mislaid your letter, the Call Center can provide this information again.
My experience was positive and productive. Originally, I was having trouble
getting the date and time for pickup dropdown boxes to open. Thanks to Andy,
that is no longer an issue. I was able to schedule 3 trips, review them, update
my password, and have since called the Call Center to ensure I indeed did it
correctly. The "Tech Blonde" and all ya know.
Additionally, when reviewing trips, there is an area that says "Estimated time
of pickup" for the current day's trip. I have confirmed that this is based on
real time but that some of the older vehicles do not have this GPS capability.
I will review my trips for tomorrow and report on my findings and how accurate
it is. This option, if reliable is worth a great deal to me!
