Hi Tinnetta,

Yes, I forgot to mention my wife and I also enjoy mysteries (the british
sort especially), and she likes to bake (and I have to eat whatever comes
out, so everyone does their part!).

Welcome to the list Alexis! You and I will have to talk about mystery and
detective stories and baking. It's a pleasure to see you here as well as at

My name is Alexis Read, and I have recently moved to Tallahassee. I work at
the Lighthouse of the Big Bend as a Vocational/Assistive Technology
Specialist. Previously, I lived in Tempe, AZ and worked at Arizona State
University. My title was Disability Access Consultant so my primary role
was assisting students in receiving course related accommodations. I have a
masters degree in vision rehabilitation therapy that I earned from Western
Michigan University in 2012.

In my free time, I enjoy reading, interacting with others on social media,
and baking. My favorite genre is mystery and detective novels with a
special focus on forensic science. I also have a minor in German although
have not found anyone who speaks the language. As a result, I feel as
though my German skills are rusty.

I look forward to interacting with others on the list.
