Hello:
I am writing to seek information about award-wining accessible parks in North
America.
The city of Eureka, CA has some funding to renovate and make accessible parks
in this community.
The local chapter of the California Council of the Blind has been asked by the
city's park district to recommend examples of parks I North America which are
considered exceptional in providing access for people with visual impairments.
Also, the district would like, if available, contact information for the
individuals responsible for the design work of these parks as well as access
guidelines which were developed for these facilities.
I have been asked by President Judy Wilkinson, CCB, to assist the chapter's
president in acquiring information about award-wining accessible parks.
Therefore, I am asking for your assistance in providing any information you may

This list has always been helpful to me on such matters as this one, and my
hope is you can again provide the requested information.
