Hello Mat,
If the quest is like the summit, you can make your own bar codes for items
not listed. I believe it also will take barcodes you scan and look them up
on the internet. I'm not sure about that though.
A good resource for looking it up is the envision America web page.
I'm sure that you could download the tutorial for the device.
