Are you delving into everyone's finances through some channel of which I am not aware? I personally don't know anyone in Tally who is getting huge SSDI or Retirement checks, though I'll grant you there are folks who don't have as much, and there probably ought to be some way to verify an individual's financial status--that would mean some people could not qualify because, even with a small-interest loan over a fair period of time, will be more than they can afford. ] I will not involve myself in anything that is questionably legal--oh yes, you do have to report to the IRS-because what you propose sounds more like a grant program to me with no financial accountability to the contributors or borrowers.
