Subject: TCB White Cane Day Walk
Hi all!
Please join in the TCB White Cane Safety day celebration on Saturday, October
14th. We will be meeting at Sam’s Club at 10:00 Saturday morning. The
address is 3122 Dick Wilson Blvd. We will meet at Sam’s Club and prepare to
cross the street at Dick Wilson and Capital Circle. We plan to have
volunteers to assist those who feel unsure of crossing the street, and will
make sure everyone is safe. We are also hoping to have TPD on hand to help
insure our safety.
After crossing the street, we plan to meet up at Sonny’s and enjoy lunch
together. We should be finished with lunch by 1:00 so you can schedule a
ride home from Sonny’s around 1:00. The address for Sonny’s is 3101 Dick
Wilson Blvd.
Please let me know if you plan to come so we can watch out for you. Also, if

I am looking forward to seeing all of you. This will be a great time to
increase awareness about blindness and white cane safety. It will also be a
fun time to enjoy spending time together.
