Thought some folks might be interested:

From the Tallahassee Democrat: Holiday Haiku Contest

Send us your best, original, previously unpublished haiku! If you're
among the top three winners, we'll publish your work, your picture and
more.

The Rules

1. All entries must be received by Nov. 27.

2. Each haiku should be three lines long, with five syllables in the
first line, seven syllables in the second, five in the third.

3. Your haiku should have a holiday or seasonal flavor.

4. Your entry must include your name, address and phone number. If you
are 15 years old or younger, please include your age so you can be
entered in the children's haiku category.

5. Tallahassee Democrat employees and their families are ineligible.

Submit your haiku

P.O. Box 990
Tallahassee, FL 32302

Or drop it off at: the Tallahassee Democrat, labeled for the haiku
contest, at 277 N. Magnolia Drive; we're close to the corner of
Magnolia and Mahan Drive.
