Well I may not clearly see the bus coming but when I first heard the busses
would go back to a hour headway, I knew what the complaints would be. I just
so happened to live on one of those routes that run with a headway of one hour.
Be happy that we don’t live on the San Lou's route with a headway of 2 hours on
Saturday.
Before this last change I believe the complaint was having to Waite for the bus
out in the elements.
We need to encourage Star Metro to tweak the system.
As for employees not earning their paychecks: Really?
Humans are a funny lot. They don’t like change. But they ask for change. Then
compline about the change.
I feel better now. Thanks for listening.

Below is a letter, pulled from the Tallahassee Democrat for us by John Plescow,
sharing one rider’s feelings about the recent changes and/or budget cuts for
Star Metro.

Letter: StarMetro changes created more problems
Tallahassee Democrat
Many of the new changes in the StarMetro system have created more problems than
they solve. Consider the Tall Timbers route (T route) I have been riding for
seven years. This route formerly had a wait time of 30 minutes, then it was
increased to 40 minutes. Guess how long you have to wait now for a T bus? An
hour! And please, do not try to find a seat on the T route. There are none.
Once people at the shelter get on the bus, there are no more seats. And this
happens all day long. Either more buses need to be added or the wait time needs
to be decreased to 30 minutes. There was nothing wrong with the T route for the
majority of us who pay to ride it. But I guess someone at StarMetro wanted to
make changes, so they did. They don't care about the people who pay to ride the
buses. It appears all they care about is themselves and their paychecks.
