Medicaid Beneficiaries Sue Over Implementation of Medicaid Managed Care Program
Florida's new Statewide Medicaid Managed Care Long-term Care (LTC) Program was
designed to keep people with complex health care needs at home instead of in a
nursing home. On behalf of five clients, a lawsuit was filed against the Agency
for Healthcare Administration (AHCA) after the lack of standards caused several
issues with the quality of their healthcare.
