Maybe it's not time to ditch MSE, after all.  One of the most knowledgeable
and respected tech experts in the media, Leo LaPort, continues to recommend
MSE and claims that there is no need to stop using it.  Read his reaction to
the recent article that advises MSE users to switch to a third-party
anti-virus program.  His explanation is comprehensive and detailed, and he
insists that there is no reason to panic and throw MSE under the bus because
it still provides good, basic protection:
