given that StarMetro has currently something like 1050 stops, their idea
of "new" stops being "added" is pretty misleading I think.

StarMetro Nears Completion of New StarStop Installation

This week, StarMetro will begin the second phase of StarStop
installation in preparation for the Nova2010 route decentralization
project, launching this July. The second phase of installation includes
the Azalea, Big Bend, Canopy, Moss and Tall Timbers routes, along with
the installation of StarStops along the night routes. Phase two will
conclude the installation of all StarStops for the new route structure.

"We are happy with the progress of the new stop installation thus far,"
Ron Garrison, Executive Director of StarMetro, said, "and we are looking
forward to the second phase of the installation."

The Nova2010 system will utilize 766 bus stops. Of these 766 stops, 473
currently exist in today's system and 266 are brand-new bus stops. These
266 new StarStops

placed along corridors that are not served today but will be served with
the new system. These brand new StarStops will not be active until July.

Customers can continue to use the 473 existing stops leading up to the
launch. These StarStops will feature a sign that says, "Active."
