so we are trying to get the word out ourselves and would LOVE your
help.)

(A) DRIVER, 15 hours/week, $8/hr
TASKS: Drive Public Awareness Specialist to speaking engagements &
appointments in 11 county area
NEED: FL Driver’s License and insurance, experience with disabilities
& guide dogs helpful
HOURS: Monday – Friday, 15 hours/week (flexible)
PAY: $8 per hour, plus $ .44/mile reimbursement if driving own car

(B) ORIENTATION & MOBILITY SPECIALIST, 15-20 hours/week, $18/hr
TASKS: Provides instruction in adaptive travel skills to adults who
are blind and visually impaired in the areas of orientation and
mobility within the 11 counties of the Big Bend. Please see the

NEED: Relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and ACVREP Certification
as a Certified Orientation & Mobility Specialist required. Excellent
verbal and written communication skills are necessary. Basic computer
skills including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, e-mail and
Internet required.
HOURS: 15-20 hours per week
PAY: $18 per hour, plus $ .44/mile reimbursement if driving own car
