FYI

MEDIA PLAY BACK AND STANDBY
If you use your Windows 98 SE computer to play back any type of media
files (mp3, .wav, etc.) and place the computer in Standby or Suspend
(your power management settings may cause this to happen), any of the
following symptoms might occur when the computer is returned to normal
running mode.

* Your computer may hang.

* Your computer may no longer play audio properly until rebooted.

* Your computer's screen may remain black or have a blinking cursor in
the top left corner.

These problems are caused by issues with DirectX software on the
computer, which can be fixed by downloading the latest version of
DirectX from
http://www.microsoft.com/directx/homeuser/downloads/default.asp
