I think I could find a place for one. I had a poor dove last year that nested
in one of my hanging plants, and laid two eggs. Unfortunately that potted plant
has a watering thing attached to it - she built it obviously before she knew
that. It was a drip thing, so I thought it might be okay. I couldn’t turn off
the whole line or I’d lose all my plants, though maybe I could have removed the
drip and lost the plant - but that would have disturbed the nest…. so she
abandoned it rather quickly.

Hi Friends of Switzer Canyon
I've been making nesting platforms for mourning doves. I have more than I can
use and I'd like to offer them to you first.
These can be mounted on your property between 6-10 feet off the ground. Good
places are the crook of a tree with lots of branches to provide cover from
predators, or underneath eaves.
