I think there use to be a way to adjust this using one of the Microsoft Power Toys. You might take a look at the Microsoft site to see. I checked it out, but the only change you can make is to use "Mouse Keys" to control the pointer using the numeric key board, which won't really work when trying to move through a studio recorder document.
