Nice work, Brian. There must be something about how screen readers deal with
certain number and colon strings when not all punctuation is used. I'm not
bothered by this, so this is only clarification of the event. I can
certainly deal with the absence of colons in a few places, but my curiosity
is peaked.

With punctuation set to All, it works, even on those lower values. When you
set it to Some, as I typically do, it doesn't speak it correctly.

It must be related to how the synthesizer is processing the strings and not
the screen reader. Interesting that it seems limited to a handful of colon
separated values.

This happens with Sound Forge as well so I didn't particularly think
anything was unusual when I heard it for the first time.

It's happened for many many years.

Actually, it's not just a JAWS issue. NVDA does not read all the colons
either. So, I wonder what is going on here?

Hi Rob:

Yes, I checked more closely and you are correct. It's a JAWS issue. I'll
report it to Freedom Scientific.

Thanks, Gerry

Hi Gerry,

This looks like a JAWS or Eloquence issue, since even your examples, as well
as my feature, use colons for all settings.

Hi;

I'm enjoying new features in SR v4.5.

I like the new announcement of zoom ratios. However, I notice Rob left out
the colon separator in some of the ratios. For example, if I press F9
multiple times I hear JAWS say:

1:256
1:128
1:64
1:32
1:16

1:8

Several of those have no colon.

If Rob follows this list hopefully he can make a note to fix it in future
maintenance release.

Thanks, Gerry
