As you know the club keeps a supply of lifejackets for use by tasters and
prospective members. Our current supply are past their best and showing signs
of age. In order to minimise the cost involved in purchasing and maintaining
club life jackets can i ask those of you who routinely use club lifejackets to
consider purchasing your own thus significantly reducing the frequency that the
club jackets need replaced?
I've spoken to David Anderson Marine in Newport and they are willing to sell
individual club members Crewsaver 165N manual lifejackets (the same type as the
light blue club lifejackets) for £55 instead of the £66 RRP, just mention the
club when purchasing. Alternatively we can drop the price still further to £53
each if we order anything over 6 so if you would like order through me and if I
get enough interest I will make a bulk order.
