Thanks to William, Clayton ,Callum, Jody, Sandie ,Charli, Susan ,Franki,
Rosario and Aileas from Islay
who answered the appeal for assistance.
With their help, on a cold miserable evening, the final maintenance tasks have
ALMOST reached completion .
The paint is drying as I type and the fixings for the rudder can hopefully be
attached tomorrow.
Now looking fairly certain that Blue Bay will be available for rowing this
weekend.
This will be confirmed by Thursday .
Tremendous effort has gone into this maintenance programme .
Many, many thanks to everyone who has been involved .
Especially Clayton, William and Herve who have provided their very considerable
expertise and time .
Now all we need is some good weather to enjoy the fruits of all this labour !
