I think Bill said it perfectly. SRG and in particular, Roger, kept us all
participating in matches when other clubs stopped holding them.
2020 was made a little more tolerable due to Roger, Jerry and all the SO’s and
others who dedicated their time to keeping matches going.
Personally, I’m very thankful and I’m looking forward to 2021.

Roger, we all owe you and Jerry a big thanks for keeping these matches going
when everyone else in New England and New York shut down.
I can't help MD or design stages because I can't always be there. I've had a
lot of last minute cancellations due to work as you know, and that's not
going to change until I retire. I will always show up early to help set up,
and I'll keep working the sponsorship growth. That's the best way I can
contribute.
Thanks for keeping these matches running.

Moving forward just wanted to thank all of you who supported our Idpa
program . Especially all of the setup and s/o staff who have been there from
the start . Between the sunday mornings and thursday night matches and the
mega match crews . It really brought diversity to the stages from different
volunteers who put alot of time and thought into each match. And some of
the craziest stages ever. Some of the other really big changes were really
getting all 4 bays with a good ground base that works with no more sink
holes and building the highest berms we could build. Also selling the
membership on investing $4000.00 in practiscore.com for our matches and all
the time that was put into setting that up and getting it going and it
paying itself off multiple times . Giving Jerry a much needed break from
scoring by hand for as long as I can remember. This also got
spragues idpa program noticed throught out the entire country.
And of course sprague biggest idpa match ever in september. Of course
during covid and then an ammo shortage that no one saw coming go figure we
still had 90+ shooters with staff not to bad.
And all the planning, time put in , all the setup crews and s/o's and Bill
really getting spragues name out there to places I've never new.
Again thanks to all.
Plans for this coming year
After a mental breakdown at the last match with alot of duties pulling me in
different directions. I reached out and asked for some help with set and s/o
for a little needed break . Wade graciously said he'd help so he will be
setting up stage 1 and 5 and being the main s/o with I assisting him with
the s/o when he needs a break . This will enable me to move along thru the
other squads in case of a DQ or a questionable penality or assist with a
malfunction with a prop. Hopefully this can move the time along alittle
faster.
Also theres no way I can handle being match director for sundays mornings
and thursday nights when they start. After 3 years of doing this its taken a
toll So I'm looking for some help here. Hopefully someone can step up to the
plate .
Next we need more s/o's volunteering to setup stages and running from them
from time to time. You get to bring some of your own ideas to the table
which in turn gives us different looking stages.
And I'm going to try to set up an s/o course at sprague like I did 3 years
ago . So if your interested in getting certification let me know. I tried to
get Wade as a certified instructor whom I think is a walking idpa
encyclopedia . But corporate said he didn't have the qualifications go
figure. So once I get a head count I can contact the idpa area manager and
setup a class.
again thanks all
