THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF EAST CENTRAL
ILLINOIS AND SOUTHEAST ILLINOIS.

DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

SOUTH WINDS OF 20 TO 25 MPH WITH GUSTS AROUND 30 MPH WILL BE
LIKELY THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT. RAIN AND SCATTERED
THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO MOVE INTO THE AREA BEFORE SUNSET
THIS EVENING AND CLEAR OUT TO THE EAST AFTER MIDNIGHT. NO SEVERE
WEATHER IS EXPECTED...HOWEVER THE GUSTY WINDS THAT WILL ALREADY
BE PRESENT MAY INCREASE FOR A SHORT TIME AS STORMS PASS THROUGH.

FLOODING WILL CONTINUE ALONG THE LITTLE WABASH RIVER NEAR CLAY
CITY THROUGH TONIGHT. RAINFALL OF UP TO ONE QUARTER INCH TONIGHT
WILL LIKELY BE INSUFFICIENT TO PRODUCE AND ADDITIONAL FLOODING
THROUGH DAWN.

DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY

A SECOND STRONGER STORM WILL PRODUCE THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE AREA
TUESDAY NIGHT INTO WEDNESDAY. THE THREAT FOR WIND DAMAGE AND
ISOLATED TORNADOES WILL EXIST FROM THE PRE-DAWN HOURS UNTIL
MIDDAY WEDNESDAY AS A STRONG FAST-MOVING SQUALL LINE PUSHES
THROUGH. HEAVY RAINFALL AMOUNTS MAY ALSO PRODUCE ADDITIONAL
FLOODING ON AREA RIVERS AND STREAMS.
