I’m sure there is a lot of communication between the committee but this was
set up for the use of all students so the committee could keep other
students and SPE members updated on what was happening, what was planned
etc. You need to build some momentum – how about telling students/members
about the support from Key Petroleum (bronze sponsor) for example? And I
understand that Origin Energy have confirmed some support also. What about
your attendance at the SPE local Board meeting? Your meeting with the UWA
Chapter president?

And how are you now going to communicate the facebook page? The Backboard
discussion page is the ideal place to publicise it initially...have you
decided not to do this now because your previous email indicated you thought
this was a good idea?

Its is important that this news gets out to all students so they can promote
the course as well to other students and we can build our numbers from first
years switching to Pet Eng. The creation of a discussion board on Blackboard
was an action from the initial meeting and I made time to set this up. I
would suggest that you take advantage of it now please.
Finally is a reminder going to be sent out about the Apache event?

We meet up every week to discuss chapter matters and we see each other
practically everyday so an online forum isn't really necessary (at the
moment anyway). We might take advantage of it in the future.
