I just have completed reading two short books, very interesting.
"D Day through the German eyes"
The defenders of Normandy, etc., didn't know what to expect.
They were surprised at the aggressiveness of the US GI's and the Brits
and Canadians.
The allied air power stunned them.
Worthwhile reading about their political thoughts.
