This warm and welcoming site invites both novice and seasoned hikers to explore
the useful material available on an impressive array of more than 500 hikes
across all of North America. From little known, tucked away waterfalls around
Los Angeles to the better known Athabasca Falls in Jasper National Park in
Alberta, Canada this "where-to" guide covers a lot of ground. An unfortunate
downside appears to be a site setting which will not permit requests for hikes
in a specific area without the disclosure of the visitor's location. Additional
features include a blog and an apparently pull-no-punches gear review section.
