Lake K raced out to a 12-3 lead and got the lead as high as 12 at 19-7
before SCO came back and cut it to 30-27 after 12 minutes. Harrell led all
with 12 points while Gobert grabbed 7 rebounds in the first 8 minutes.
Holliday and Gordon each scored 7.
In the second quarter, SCO took their first lead of the game at 43-42 and
built their biggest lead of the half at 56-48. Lake K got within three but
at the half SCO was on top 67-60. Harrell was still the leading scorer
with 18 points but the only Lake K player in double figures. Gobert now
had 9 rebounds. SCO had two players scoring in double figures, both off
the bench. Barea led the way with 16 and Rose had 12.
In the third quarter, SCo held a double digit lead for most of the quarter
but not by more than 13 points. Heading to the 4th, Lake K trailed 91-83.
Harrell was now up to 28 points and 9 rebounds while Gobert had a
double-double already with 10 points and 11 rebounds. Barea and Rose did
not score in the quarter but Holliday was now up to 14.
In the fourth quarter, Lake K tied the game at 96-96 but SCO answered with
the next 10 points. Lake K got no closer than eight the rest of the way
and SCO went on to win 126-114. Harrell scored a game high 31 points and
earned a double-double with 11 rebounds. Gobert poured in 18 points and
grabbed a game high 16 rebounds. Smart also had a double-double with 10
points and a game high 10 assists. Holliday led SCO with 22 points while
Drummond reached a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds. SCo
almost had more blocks (15) than turnovers (18).
