San Diego currently owns the 17th overall pick in the RFA draft and is looking
to move down a little in order to pick up another selection in the late 2nd or
early 3rd round. Probably the best scenario for this to happen would be by
making a trade with one of the 7 returning teams, since the new teams (or
coaches that threw in their roster) draft in opposite order each round - but
I'd certainly be open to any ideas somebody has).
Here's what I had in mind... for one of the 4 teams that made the playoffs last
year and drafts between 21 and 24 this year:
San Diego #1 (17th overall)
San Diego #4 (79th overall)
for
Your #1 (21st to 24th)
Your #2 (45th to 48th)
Or for one of the 3 teams that didn't make the playoffs, something along these
lines:
San Diego #1 (17th overall)
San Diego #5 (115th overall)
for
Your #2 (25th to 27th)
Your #3 (49th to 51st)
These are just some possibilities... I'm open to other ideas, as well... please
DM me if you are interested in moving up to get a mid-first round pick (in case
there's somebody there you might have your eye on).
Thanks!
Frank
