In Game 1, Lexington jumped out to a 38-28 1st quarter lead. Lexington then
pushed the lead to 13, but Steph Curry and company closed it to just a 7 point
halftime lead, 67-60. At the half, Curry led all scorers with 18 points.
Giannis led Lexington with 15.
In the 3rd quarter, Lexington again pushed the lead and were up by 12 points.
Lake K was able to trim the lead to 10 by the end of the 3rd and Lexington led
104-94.
In the final quarter, Lexington got hot and found themselves up 18. However,
Lake K would not go away. Lake K eventually whittled the lead down and with 1
minute to go, Lexington clung to a 5 point lead. Down the stretch Lexington was
able to hang on and make FT's and held off the Lake K charge to win 137-129.
Both teams shot well. Lexington 56% and Lake K at 54%. Lake K had 4 players
over 20 points led by Steph Curry's 33 points. Giannis led Lexington with 41
