Congrats to Tony/FLI for making the playoffs in season reboot 1, and
congrats to Gordon/GRG in advancing to the second round. You both did a
great job in building your team this fall.

GRG eliminates FLI 3 games to 1 in a heart thumping comeback in which FLI
led for over 47 minutes.  Beal scored 22 in the 1st half as FLI seemed to
barely miss a shot amassing a 69-57 lead.  FLI still led 108-92 with 6
minutes to play before going ice cold and missing all but 1 dazzler the rest
of the way.  GRG scored 13 points in under 3 minutes to cut the lead to 3
before a Rose jumper made it 5 with 2:48 to play.  Siakam scored inside to
make it 110-107.  Lowry got a steal, Siakam missed an open shot, Brown
missed the tip-in but Siakam grabbed the rebound and scored to cut the lead
to 1.  Beal missed a 3, Randle missed a penetration, Green missed a 3 and
the clock ticked inside a minute to play.  Randle was fouled on the drive
and calmly sank them both for the first GRG lead of the day.  Hernangomez
got a steal but threw it out of bounds on the ensuing play.  FLI called TO
with 9 seconds to play down 1.  Rose took a 3 that clanged off and Randle
grabbed the rebound to seal the victory.

 

Lowry was POG with 18 points - 16 in the 2nd half - and 12 assists.  Randle
scored 30 and Siakam 20.  Beal finished with 33 points, Rose 14 and 10
assists, DeRozan 12 and 10 assists, Capela 12 and 11 boards and Conley 10.
