What a great July outing with Ace leading the charge... Definitely worth the
6+hour drive to SD during rush hour...
Mt Woodson is such a challenging course with many twists and turns... I was
very fortunate to be paired with our newest SOGAGG member WOXOF since he
carried ort team to a strong second place finish...
Anyway, on to my October 2018 SOGAGG road trip... So I learned that several
Society members wanted to attend but had a schedule conflict with Oct 11-14
weekend. So I am now proposing that we move the schedule back one week to
Oct 18th thru Oct 21st.

Travel time varies by day and time of day so I am proposing late morning tee
times so that players could drive up the morning of the golf outing and stay
overnight or head home after the rush hour has ended. Sunset is 6:20 so I
don't expect we will have any problems with not finishing... Late day travel
time leaving around 8 pm from Ventura to San Diego is about 3 hours.
Please let me know if you are willing to make the trip to North SOCAL for a
Fall SOGAGG road trip.

I'd like to take on the October 2018 monthly outing here in Ventura.
Anybody up for a relatively short road trip???
Depending on your individual availability, we could play one, two, three or
four days at different courses.
I'd schedule late morning tee times so that it would be possible to drive up
in the morning, play a round and head home (if you really like driving for 6
+ hours in one day).
For those willing to overnight, then the possibilities are endless. I'd
welcome other suggestions for courses such as Alisal that Charlie mentioned
in Solvang instead of one of the Ventura munis. There are lots of vineyards
for post golf activities. ;o)

I've purchased some of the certificates for Ojai Valley Inn which is years
past was home to some PGA events.
Today is the last day to purchase. It's a very good deal.
The certificates are good for use on Sunday thru Thursdays and are good thru
Dec 31, 2018. After that date the full value is still good towards golf.
