Looks like we dropped two. Anyone else have two friends they want to invite?

Charlie-Brian and I are going to need to drop out of SOGGAG on the 3 June
event. I got a call for my long awaited VA appointment that I can't
reschedule.
Sorry for the change

I have been informed that we'll be playing regular tee times on 3 June as
the shotgun was moved to August 12. (We have been invited to join the
shotgun then too if we'd like. Let me know if you are interested.)
I will bring score cards with course handicaps. If you have not yet sent me
your current handicap index or lowest score in your last six games, please
do. We will be wagering on four-ball and low net, so I am sure you would
like to play on a somewhat even competitive basis.
Plan on paying at the pro shop as usual. Let's meet at the bar at 0700 if
you want to have breakfast together.
Not that any of you need it, but the practice facilities are awesome if you
are interested.

Players,
Rich MacDonald has, against his better judgment, decided to join us for
our Maderas outing.
I have Ken Dorren with a 17 index, Dave Rodriguez with a 24, and Rich
with a 15.7. I will bring updated score cards on the 3rd.

Subject: [sogagg] SOGAGG Outing Maderas 3 June 2016 0800 Shotgun Start
SOGAGG and Guests,
I’ve attached the lineup for 3 June. We have one open spot with Axe not
playing. Carl would like to, but might get overtaken by events on short
notice (fishing). Let me know if I need to make changes in the lineup.
The foursomes will play Stroke Play Four-Ball. This is a competition in
which two competitors play as partners, each playing his own ball. The
lower score of the partners is the score for the hole. The total scores
for each side (the partners) determine the winning side. I recommend
wagering front nine, back nine, and overall for some cost per person.
The threesome, if we don’t get a fourth, will play Match Play
Three-Ball. This is a competition in which three players play a match
against one another, each playing his own ball. Each player is playing
two distinct matches. A similar wager would be appropriate.
In addition, low net of all players, based on stroke play of each, buys
the first round. A player’s drive not passing the plane of the forward
teeing ground buys a round. Any other participant feeling the urge is
welcome to buy a round, lunch, new golf clubs for all players, or whatever
suites their fancy.
Local Rules: If there is a rattlesnake in the bunker with your ball in
it, take a free drop in a different bunker! Do not tease the rattlesnakes.
Course handicaps will be used for the competitions. I included the
handicaps I have as of the most recent SCGA update and the results from
Las Vegas. Please send me any other valid handicap indexes you and your
guests might have, such as from Grint. If you have none, please send me
the lowest you have scored in the last six games you have played; include
the course rating and slope rating. If you only have a SPAWAR Golf League
index, we can just double that.
Warm Regards,
Charlie Hopkins
