This is to formally nominate Becky Hank to be the newest member of our merry
band of duffers.
Having golfed with her several times, I believe she possesses all the qualities
we seek in someone we would consider inducting into our august society. That
is, with the possible exception of the quality of her golf game. Unlike many
of us, she can be counted on to hit drives straight down the middle of the
fairway. And indeed, she is an accomplished putter, reliably able to sink a put
at medium range. In fact, during the UTR/STEP scramble, playing with several
of our best members, she contributed more than her fair share of the best balls
of the foursome. Of course, it might behoove us to look the other way on this
particular criterion, since we could expect her to be buying many rounds for
her low net scores.
I hope you will join me, when our illustrious leader, ACE, opens the balloting,
in affirming this nomination.
